The mission of the Education Division of the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission is to:

• Promote zero tolerance for underage possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages;

• Educate adults on the negative consequences of excessive and irresponsible consumption of alcoholic beverages;

• Discourage adults from providing alcoholic beverages to young persons;

• Promote responsible sales and service of alcoholic beverages by permittees to adults.
